Jousting Heroes Cabinet Upgrade

I helped Brad rewire for the new connector on the IO board. Lots of soldering and rerouting wiring for the new connector

Also note the naming convention on the edge connector wire harness.

A, B, C, D, E, F,H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, a, b, c, d, e, f, h, i, j, and so on.

It is missing letters in the sequence. Why?

This is common with Atari (and other) edge connectors and comes from the aerospace industry. It is to prevent confusion between the number 0 and the letters G,O and Q. The letter I is removed to prevent confusion with the number 1.

You need to be careful as not all connector manufacturers use this numbering system.
