Yoke and USB controller on Raspberry Pi in MAME

Does the yoke and controller work on the Pi within an Emulation Station/Retroarch/MAME4All setup? I would like to pull the trigger and order them, but have not seen any information on them working within MAME on the Pi. The Star Wars Arcade1Up yoke works great through an A-PAC in Windows MAME, but is a large D-Pad without any analog mapping available in MAME on the Pi4.
