We are pleased to announced that the third annual Major League eSports (MLeS) World Championship is set to take place during the Amusement Expo International 2026 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be our biggest MLeS World Championship to date, appropriately being held in the entertainment capital of the world.
The first two MLeS World Championships were held in Utah, which Alan-1 calls our home base. The first event was at the Flynn’s Retrocade in Roy, UT, then the second was held at The Hangar, which houses an enormous private collection of classic arcade games. Each time, the top 3 players walked away with both fortune and glory, totaling over 25k in prizes. This year’s Grand Champion will walk away with $5000, 2nd place $2000 and 3rd $1000 – our biggest award ever.
The 2026 MLeS World Championship will feature the top eight players from the Major League eSports circuit, with their selection based upon the League Points they accumulated throughout 2025. Competitors earned their points by excelling in Alan-1’s acclaimed video arcade games, including Avian Knights, Asteroids: Recharged, Missile Command: Recharged, Dr Pepper Soda Slam!, and Liquid Death. As before, these elite gamers will battle it out in a high-stakes tournament with a selection of Alan-1’s games, where they will showcase their skill, strategy, and precision in front of both a live audience and global viewers over Twitch.
Amusement Expo is a long running tradeshow that is held every Spring, usually in Las Vegas. It tends to just focus on new arcade & amusement products that are going to be available to the industry for the Summer. Alan-1 has attended it a few times in the past, but this year we are upping the ante by featuring one of the biggest booths of the show. Some of this space will be set up with a staging area, where the contestants will duke it out virtually, vying for that #1 spot, which will include a cool cash prize. Alan-1 will also cover all travel and accommodations for the contestants. The booth space is #1855.
In addition to showcasing their existing games, new ones will also debut at the event, and be available to play. Fans and participants can expect thrilling matches, exclusive previews of upcoming Alan-1 titles, and interactive fan zones.
