The scores have been settled and we now have a champion, as the 3rd Annual Major League eSports World Championship has wrapped up in Las Vegas, NV at the Amusement Expo 2026 event. Thanks to Adam of Arcade Heroes for this photo below:
First off, we want to thank all eight of our contestants who came and played their hearts out over two days across seven different games. Addition big thanks go out to Clint Wilder of Aurcade.com who refereed the entire competition and Jeff at Arcade Hollywood who was there to document the action.
What is MLeS? We put together this video to give it a quick rundown.
The games played for this year’s World Championship made a record, as the year prior we only had Avian Knights and Asteroids: Recharged. This year shows the growth in the MLeS reach, as all of these games are available in arcades and more locations are picking them up:
It was a hard fought gaming battle, and when all of the bits had been blasted and scores tabulated, three champions rose, and claimed their prizes. Thanks to Jeff at Arcade Hollywood for this photo of the winners:
YORKIESTV Is your new MLeS World Champion, with Luxmatic in a close 2nd, and Retroman21 in 3rd. Not only did they earn the prestige of this win, they also walked away richer, with YorkiesTV pocketing the grand prize of $5000, Luxmatic $2000 and Retroman $1000. Alan-1 also covered the travel and lodging for all contestants.
If YOU want to play in next year’s MLeS Tournament, then download the MLeS app for free to your iOS or Android device and start playing in the weekly tournaments on Alan-1 games like Avian Knights (now available on all consoles) to earn League Points. It is also available on all of our video arcade games, from the Atari Recharged titles, to the Soda Slam series. You have until December 31st to earn as many as is possible to join the top 8 League Point earners and compete next year for more fortune and glory!
