Game Updates & Change Log

Software Updates and Online Features

Most Alan-1 arcade games include free software updates for life. These updates cover minor gameplay improvements, feature enhancements, balance adjustments, and fixes for reported issues.

By default, Alan-1 games are online-enabled and will automatically download new updates in the background when a reliable internet connection is available. The next time the machine is restarted, the latest version will activate automatically and become the version that boots.

Owners always retain full control of their cabinet. Any Alan-1 game can be restored at any time to the original software version that shipped from the Alan-1 Area 52 factory. If preferred, automatic updates can also be disabled from the Settings menu, allowing updates to be installed manually at the owner’s discretion.

If you experience an issue with updates or connectivity, we recommend the following support steps:
 1. Refer to your game manual for step-by-step update and connectivity instructions.
 2. Search our Support Knowledge Base for troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and common solutions at https://alan-1.com/support/.
 3. If you still need assistance, contact Alan-1 Support by phone at 1-844-44-ALAN1 ext. 1 and a team member will be happy to help.
