The iconic soft drink Dr Pepper™ is bursting its way into arcades with Dr Pepper™ SODA SLAM! by DSM Arcade and Alan-1 Inc. This takes our original Soda Slam! and kicks things up a notch with new cabinet artwork and new in-game graphics that reflect Dr Pepper™.
This unique game is inspired by Dr Pepper™ “Fansville” marketing campaign, where some of the customers are wearing football jersies; some are not. All customers are thirsty though, and are looking to be served either Dr Pepper™, Diet Dr Pepper™, Dr Pepper™ Zero Sugar, or Dr Pepper™ Cherry.
There are four soda taps in front of the player, which need to be pulled to dispense the soda in game.
Aim to fill that glass straight to the top – but not over it – to gain a “Perfect Pour,” which will result in
the most points. Chain Perfect Pours together for a point multiplier and to send ice cubes to your
opponent! You can underfill a glass, but not too little, where above the half way point can also earn
points. Be careful not to dispense when there is no cup there, or to overfill.
Aside from the attractive hand-drawn artwork, each tap on a Dr Pepper™ SODA SLAM! cabinet is tied to a dynamic LED tube that simulates liquid flowing through it when the stick is pulled back. This makes for a
mesmerizing effect and it is built into both cabinet models.
Those models are available in the Deluxe and Super Deluxe flavors, with the latter featuring giant,
