Small run

Page 1 of 2Next

We placed a small run for 20 USB star wars flight yoke adapters today.  We should be ready to ship in 6 weeks.

If you're interested, please leave a message here stating so.  If demand is greater, we'll order up more.

Are these for just beta testers or anyone?

I would be happy to beta test if I can get one.  I currently have a  This Old Game adapter and an original SW yoke.  I am having trouble calibrating this for MAME.  There is a dead zone I cannot resolve in MAME, that is also present in the Windows 7 calibration screen.  If your adapter resolves this I would gladly pay 🙂

I have one of those too and you can turn the dead zone on and off.
You can turn it on and off by holding either the left trigger and thumb button together or right trigger and thumb button together when you plug it into the computer. I haven't changed it since I installed it so I'm not sure which one turns it on and which one is off.

Is there a status update on these interfaces?

I'm looking to reproduce a SW cabinet and will need to purchase both a yoke and interface. Been watching with a ton of interest for a bit now!

Thanks!

Yes, the USB adapter should be available by February 15th.  March 1st at the latest.  Wish it wouldn't have taken so long for us to get it ready, but getting the firmware right has been really tricky.  We've been working on this for over a year now.  We think we're nailed it.  Our adapters will allow you to be able to flash the firmware, however, if we roll out upgraded versions over time however.

Thanks for your interest!  I'd love to see pictures of your build posted.

Excellent- I will keep watching the site. Everyone knows there is only one way to play these games.

And that is with the proper controller. Man I am stoked.

BTW, has any testing been done with the adapter and yoke on a pi based setup? That is my initial plan, but I may move to a win10 SBC LattePanda or even a normal windows machine if need be..

Thanks!

I’ve ordered a Yoke and I’m also happy test the USB Yoke flight adaptor.
I’m running versions in testing building a full reproduction upright Atari cabinet.
I have MAME on Windows 7, Windows 10 Pro and XP. Also keen to see how it tests with AAE emulator.
Please let me know if you need another tester.

Thanks.
